The Renaissance has impacted our society by embracing individualism. In today's society, not only is being an individual accepted, but it is even encouraged. Freedom of expression is heavily supported. Thanks to that, the U.S.A. is a very liberal country. There are all sorts of people from all sorts of countries, religions, with different tastes in music and clothes among other things; but everybody is treated equally and accepted. Everybody wants to be "original".
